Retrieve Authorization (EPP) Code
You can retrieve the authorization code for your domains at any time by following these steps:
Log in to the OffshoreDomains client area:
- Navigate to the "Domains" section.
- Click on the domain you'd like to retrieve the transfer code from.
Access Domain Settings:
- On the left-hand side menu, click on "Settings."
- Look for the option labeled "EPP Code" or "Transfer Key."
Request EPP Code/Transfer Key:
- Click on the "Resend EPP Code" option provided.
Check Your Email:
- You'll receive an email containing the EPP code.
- Note: Ensure that WHOIS Privacy is disabled, as the EPP code may not be sent if your email address is masked by privacy data.
Additional Considerations:
- If your domain is using our company data and you're unable to receive emails with the transfer code, please open a ticket, and we'll provide you with the transfer code.
- Make sure your domain hasn't been transferred or registered within the last 60 days, as registries typically prohibit transfers during this period.
- Ensure your domain is in an unlocked status by removing the Registrar Lock from the domain settings. This step is recommended to prevent unauthorized transfers.
A Note Regarding Authorization Codes:
All of the codes we utilize adhere to the specifications required by the associated domain registries. If you encounter issues transferring a domain from OffshoreDomains to a different registrar and they claim the code is invalid, consider the following:
- Ensure you entered the code accurately and completely.
- Verify if there's a problem with the other registrar's system.
- Check if your email client altered the code in any way.
